High-Even-Low (Event)
This event was one I helped design during my period as a DoMO GS. I subsequently ported it to SMT:IO, and made it a little bit more accessable. After retiring as a GS for SMT:IO, I realized that it might not be a good idea to let this event die.
Requirements - Basic Knowledge of IMAGINE's Specials Commands, Rudimentary English.
Event Host(s): Recommended 4+
Event Prizes: Random Datatickets, Pieces of Gear, Consumables.
First, the Primary Event Host lays out the guidelines to the participants.
1) Orderly lines. (Highly Important)
2) No Rolling Dice when it's not your turn to. Failure to comply will result in immediate disqualification
3) Participants will square-off against the event hosts in a battle of dice rolling and guessing outcomes.
4) Participants must guess if their die roll will be higher, the same as, or lower than the host's die roll PRIOR to rolling their own die.
5) Participants must announce their guess via shout chat, failure to follow this will result in immediate disqualification
6) If the participant loses to the current event host, they're out of the running (at least temporarily). They should still stay and watch. Especially if everyone else loses the first round; at which point, any and all participants may come back and try again.
7) Each time a participant beats an event host, the winner heads over to the next host and waits until the rest of the participants either are eliminated or beat the previous host, after which they may then compete against the current host.
8) The elimination rounds will continue until only 3 participants remain. These last 3 participants will go against one of the hosts until they lose: First one who loses to the host in this round recieves 3rd Place, The second to lose get second place, and the last remaining one gets first place.
9) Once someone has won a prize, they may not partipate in the event again during the same day. They are, however, welcome to watch.
A sample piece goes as follows:
